FAQ of the moment:

How do I print zeros with slashes on an Intermec IPL printer?

There is an IPL configuration command that controls this. The enable Slash Zero command is listed in the IPL reference guide, and the syntax is <SI>z1. Once this is sent to the printer, it will substitute the character Ø for each zero that is sent to it. Of course, this is for human readable characters only. This command will remain on until the printer is reset; i.e. it survives after the printer is powered down.
